As your project begins our operational management process seamlessly integrates with your timeframe to deliver our services at the appropriate time. Upon completion of your project one of our technicians will commission your system. At this point we will demonstrate how to use the equipment and how to get the best from your chosen technology. Retherm installations are to the highest standards and carry all of the certificates and warranties necessary to claim any of the cash incentives offered for renewable energy.

NIBE VIP Installer
This kite mark is only awarded to companies who can provide the full range of services in support
of the NIBE products. To qualify for this status all of Retherm’s engineers have attended the service
and maintenance courses operated by NIBE and as such the company are competent to service and
maintain their (NIBE) range of heat pumps. It also means that the company agree to abide by the

REAL
Retherm is accredited under the REAL scheme (Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd). This gives
consumers independent protection and ensures that the service supplied will perform properly and
meet the quality standards. It protects consumer’s deposits and prepayments and any other aspect

MCS
Retherm is also accredited under the governments MCS scheme, which demonstrates our quality
and competence to undertake your project. Retherm undertakes a rigorous annual inspection
of its installations and internal quality control systems to qualify for certification in each of the
technologies it installs (Heat Pump, Solar PV and Solar thermal). For your installation to be eligible
for The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) or Feed in Tariff (FIT’s) the product and installer must be

Ground Source Heat Pump Association
Retherm is a member of this trade body who not only lobby on behalf of the industry they also
provide a code of practice which ground source heat pump manufacturers and installers have agreed
to abide by. This is continually reviewed and updated with the latest research to establish a ‘code
of ethical practice’ for installers such as Retherm to adhere to. Further details can be found at

Benchmark
The Benchmark member scheme is a nationally recognised scheme that places the responsibilities
on both manufacturers and installers to ensure best practice in installation, commissioning and
servicing of domestic heating and hot water products in line with Building Regulations in England
and Wales. It is managed and promoted by the Heating and Hot water Industry Council (HHIC).

CHAS
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme is the standard by which Retherm agree
to show compliance with important parts of health and safety law (the core criteria described
in the CDM regulations. Retherm have a full risk assessment and health & Safety policy which
protects both its staff and customers from associated risks in the construction industry. Copies

Our experience in the renewable energy industry has made us aware of the importance of good project management. The installation of a renewable energy system contains many differing elements and trades all of which requires careful coordination. To ensure you and your contractors have one point of contact, Retherm appoint a project co-ordinator to handle the liaison role between contractors, suppliers and client. He will provide you with regular project updates and instructions to ensure you have a clear understanding of progress of your project. Offering a variety of technologies and a full installation service reduces the problems associated with using a variety of companies.
