Annual health check
etherm is pleased to offer this annual health check and extended manufacturer's warranty (5 years) to ALL of our customers. Clearly, the extended warranty is a distinct advantage when signing up for our service agreement but there are many other benefits which are detailed below.
Our annual health check includes
- Check operation of all functional controls and components.
- Check calibration of sensors.
- Assess programming levels to optimise performance.
- Test of safety devices.
- Clean filters.
- Inspect and report on pipe work.
- Adjust operational settings to customer requirements.
- Check glycol strength and level.
- Visual safety check.
- Assessment of running time, number of starts and immersion/back up usage.
- Check integrity of electrical connections and insulation.
- G3 unvented water cylinder safety check
The Health Checks will normally take place between March and September.
Service agreement
This agreement covers all types of heat pump (air, ground and exhaust air) and includes one annual health check. Another major benefit for health check customers is access to free telephone support during office hours and weekends. Should an engineer's visit be required we will attend within 3 working days. Faults repaired under the extended warranty will not incur any cost to the customer.
Should the fault not be covered under warranty service agreement holders receive a 10% discount off our standard labour rates.
Parts that are not covered under the manufactures guarantee will be replaced and guaranteed for a further 12 months; Retherm will charge for parts at list price less 10% to service agreement holders.
Though your heat pump provides the energy to heat your home it integrates with other services such as under floor heating or traditional radiators, Problems with these are not covered under this agreement, however our engineers will liaise with your local plumber or electrician and advise on any issues that require attention.
